Water Filter Replacement Cartridges
The Phoenix Cartridges come in two sizes; the Spirit Cartridge and the Freedom Cartridge. They are the heart of all the Phoenix Water Filters. The Freedom Cartridge is to be used exclusively for the Phoenix Freedom, whilst the Spirit Cartridge is for use with all other Phoenix Filters.
Their ceramic filtration technology ensures the highest quality of crystal clear, clean drinking water. In addition to providing great tasting pure water, the Spirit and Freedom cartridges prove to be more economical and environmentally friendly.
The Phoenix Cartridges lasts up to 3000 litres depending on the quality of the water intended for filtration. However, Phoenix recommends the cartridges to be changed every 6 months, due to the exhaustion of the Activated Carbon’s filtration properties.
The Phoenix cartridges utilises a three-stage filtration mechanism to ensure only the cleanest of drinking water. Cutting no corners with quality our ceramic filter elements are sourced from the highest quality british ceramics.
First stage:
The first stage consists of the Phoenix ceramic that provides indisputable sub micron filtration down to 1 micron resulting in 99.99% bacteria deduction. It also reduces fine particulate matter, cysts and turbidity.
Second stage:
The amalgamation of silver- impregnated within the ceramic structure hinders the growth of bacteria and provides enhanced bacteria removal and self sterilizing properties.
Third stage:
The inner core of the Phoenix Cartridges contain Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), which absorbs and draws out impurities including chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, volatile organic chemicals to its fine pore structure.
