There are many water filter brands available today with the water filtration industry more or less broken up into three main segments; top tier, middle tier and lower tier all of which are self explanatory when it comes to water filtration quality. When choosing which water filter is right for you and your family, determined by the need, price and use of the water filter, one must not be fooled by price.
A lot of water filter companies will have cheaper price for initially purchasing the water filter and then have far more expensive prices for the water filters refill cartridges. As the purchasing of the replacement cartridges in most cases should occur biannually this is something which can become far more expensive than the initial cost of the water filter, as it is the running cost of your water filter over its lifetime.
